Hiring Event - Grounds Technicians March 2026 | Cherry Creek, COBroe Real Estate Group is excited to host an in-person Hiring Event for Grounds Technicians to join our team at three of our beautiful residential communities in the Cherry Creek/Denver areas.How to ApplyReview the full job description.Submit your application to be considered.Selected candidates will be contacted by a member of our team with additional event details and to schedule a dedicated interview timeslot for early March.POSITION SUMMARYThe Grounds Technician is responsible for maintaining the exterior grounds, outdoor amenities, and common areas of a residential community to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and team members. This role plays an essential part in supporting curb appeal, resident experience, and daily property operations.As an in-house role, the Grounds Technician provides a higher level of care and responsiveness and works collaboratively with Property Management and Maintenance teams.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESGrounds and Exterior MaintenanceMaintain landscaped areas including lawns, planters, trees, shrubs, and flower beds.Conduct routine grounds inspections and address debris, litter, and visible hazards.Monitor irrigation systems and report leaks, malfunctions, or seasonal adjustment needs.Maintain sidewalks, courtyards, patios, parking areas, garages, and outdoor amenities.Support snow and ice removal operations including shoveling, salting, and monitoring walkways.Assist with seasonal landscaping activities such as planting, mulching, pruning, and leaf removal.Cleanliness and Site AppearanceMaintain cleanliness of exterior common areas, entryways, and high traffic outdoor spaces.Empty trash and debris from common areas as needed.Monitor and maintain cleanliness of trash rooms, dumpster enclosures, and compactor areas.Ensure dumpster and compactor areas are orderly, free of loose debris, and accessible for service.Identify and report trash related issues including overflow, damage, or safety concerns.Support pressure washing and deep cleaning projects as scheduled.Identify and report graffiti, damage, or site related concerns promptly.Site Inspections and SafetyPerform routine site walks to monitor cleanliness, safety, and overall property condition.Conduct regular lighting checks and replace light bulbs as needed in exterior areas, parking areas, garages, and interior common spaces.Identify and report hazards, safety concerns, or issues requiring maintenance attention.Monitor walkways, stairs, and common areas for trip hazards, weather related conditions, or damage.Seasonal and Special ProjectsAssist with seasonal changeovers including winterization and spring startup.Support setup and breakdown for property events or special projects.Assist with holiday décor or seasonal displays as directed.Participate in property improvement projects as assigned.Maintenance SupportProvide general assistance to the Maintenance team as needed.Transport materials, tools, equipment, and furnishings as required.Assist with unit and common area preparation, cleanup, and turnover related tasks.Perform hallway and common area paint touch ups as assigned and within training and authorization.Perform basic repairs and operational tasks when assigned and within training and authorization.Report maintenance issues clearly and promptly through established processes.Other DutiesMay also assist with general maintenance related tasks as needed.Perform other duties and project, as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES2-5 years' experience in grounds or exterior maintenance, landscaping, facilities support, or a related field is preferred.Ability to work independently while managing routine responsibilities with minimal supervision.Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining property appearance.Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Basic familiarity with landscaping tools and equipment or willingness to learn.Dependable, punctual, and team oriented with a strong work ethic.Ability to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime based on operational needs.Flexibility with schedule to support weather events, seasonal demands, special projects, and coverage needs.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESExperience using landscaping equipment and outdoor power toolsAbility to perform basic repairs or assist Maintenance as neededComfort working independently in varying weather conditionsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSPhysical Requirements% of Work TimeSpeak and hear clearly100%Lift up to 50 lbs.75%Walk, stoop, kneel, bend and reach100%Dexterity with hands to use lawn equipment and power tools30%Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, snow, and other conditions due to the role's outdoor nature.100%WORK ENVIRONMENTWork mostly outdoors with a variety of weather conditions. Seasonal work expectations include:Winter: snow/ice removal, walkway safety, winterization tasksSpring: landscaping prep, planting, irrigation startupSummer: mowing, trimming, irrigation monitoring, outdoor amenity upkeepFall: leaf removal, seasonal cleanup, support for property displays/eventsSCHEDULE AND AVAILABILITYThis position supports a residential community that operates seven days a week and requires extended daily coverage.Work schedules may include weekdays, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime based on operational needs.
