The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.Position SummaryThe responsibilities for the position include: recruiting study participants, screening potential participants to determine eligibility, maintaining communication with participant families, coordinating study visits, administering clinical, physiologic, and neuropsychological assessments, tracking and entering data into databases, assisting with MRI scans of women and infants, and tracking and updating the IRB protocol.The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, ability to work both independently and as part of a research team, and an interest in learning new skills and technologies and willingness to be trained in phlebotomy and biospecimen collection. This position is for two hires.ResponsibilitiesWill assist with the recruiting and screening of study participants.Assist in the coordination and administration of study visit protocols (e.G., physiological, neurological, and behavioral assessments).Will process and clean behavioral, physiological, or neuroimaging data.Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.Minimum Qualifications* Bachelor's degree with emphasis on neuroscience and behavior, psychology.Preferred QualificationsEarly childhood/pregnant women research or clinical experience.A two-year commitment to the position preferred.Spanish language fluency is preferred.Other Requirements* Must complete all online systems training requirements.* Must have excellent interpersonal skills, experience with data coding, and proficiency in MS Excel and Word.Equal Opportunity Employer / Disability / VeteranColumbia University is committed to the hiring of qualified local residents.
