Research Engineer, Knowledge Graph Intelligence
Overview
In this role, you will design and productionize NLP-driven ML solutions to support front-office investment professionals. You’ll lead research, data prep, and modeling across NLP, unstructured data, and time-series tasks, applying GenAI and scalable deep learning techniques. You’ll collaborate with data engineers and product teams to deploy models into production and stay current with advances in NLP and ML to drive impact. This is a chance to shape intelligence-driven surveillance and contribute to risk assessment at scale.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop ML and NLP models for production-ready applicationsImplement GenAI solutions and optimize ML infrastructureWork with sparse data and improve model generalizationPerform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluationCollaborate with data engineers, software developers, and product teams to deploy modelsStay updated with NLP/ML advances and apply new techniques as neededContribute to projects across ML disciplines including NLP, predictive modeling, and classic MLManage end-to-end research process from methodology to performance evaluation
Key requirementsPhD, Master's degree, or 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience6+ years of experience building ML models and developing algorithmsStrong Python proficiency with NumPy, Hugging Face, PyTorch, and spaCy for NLPExperience with LLMs/foundation models and large-scale deep learning systemsExpertise with sparse data, data augmentation, weak supervision, semi-supervised learningSolid understanding of NLP concepts: tokenization, embeddings, attention, transformersExperience with data evaluation, model explainability, and error analysisExperience in Linux environmentCommitment to the highest ethical standardscollaboration with cross-functional teamsstrong communication and problem-solvingcuriosity and continuous learningPythonNumPyHugging Face
