Director of Operations
Compensation: $90,000-$110,000 base + 10% bonus + strong benefits
Overview:
Our client is a growing, multi-generational wealth management practice seeking a Director of Operations to lead and scale their internal operations function. This individual will oversee day-to-day operations, develop and mentor the operations team, and drive efficiency across workflows, systems, and processes.
This is a highly visible leadership role that partners closely with advisors to ensure a seamless client experience while building the infrastructure needed for continued growth.
Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the operations team, including hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching
Oversee daily operations, including workflow management, client requests, and operational compliance
Build, refine, and implement SOPs to improve consistency, efficiency, and client satisfaction
Partner with Lead Advisors on operational execution, including calendar management and task delegation
Serve as the liaison between advisors and the operations team to ensure alignment and smooth execution
Own practice management responsibilities, including workflow optimization and team productivity
Manage HR-related functions, including payroll, benefits, compensation planning, and team events
Stay current on industry updates, compliance changes, and internal platform updates
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement scalable solutions
Support hiring efforts across the team, including job descriptions, interviews, and onboarding
Qualifications:
4+ years of operations or related experience (or 2+ years in a senior associate role)
Proven experience hiring, developing, and leading team members
Strong operational mindset with attention to detail and process improvement
Experience within wealth management or financial services preferred
Licenses preferred: Series 7, Series 63, and Life & Health
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
