Tax Associate / Senior / Manager - LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit)Location:Hybrid - St. Louis, Chicago, Nashville, Kansas City, or Denver Remote option available for CPAs A nationally recognized public accounting firm is expanding its Affordable Housing / LIHTC tax practice and is looking to add Tax Associates, Seniors, and Managers with experience in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) partnershipsThis team works with a wide range of affordable housing developers, investment funds, and real estate partnerships across the country. The group is well-established, collaborative, and continuing to grow due to strong client demand. Position HighlightsWork with one of the largest LIHTC tax practices in the countryFlexible hybrid schedule in multiple office locations Fully remote option available for licensed CPAsClear path for career advancement and leadership opportunitiesCollaborative team environment with strong technical support ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review partnership tax returns related to LIHTC investmentsWork with complex real estate partnership structuresAnalyze and allocate tax credits and partnership income/lossAssist with tax planning and compliance for affordable housing clientsReview work prepared by junior staff (Senior/Manager level) Communicate directly with clients, developers, and investment groups QualificationsExperience working with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) tax engagementsPublic accounting experience with real estate partnershipsCPA required for fully remote candidatesCPA or actively pursuing CPA acceptable for Associate/Senior roles in hybrid officesStrong understanding of partnership taxationAbility to work in a collaborative, client-focused environment Experience LevelsTax Associate1-3+ years of public accounting experience CPA progress preferred Tax Senior3-6+ years of public accounting experience LIHTC experience strongly preferred Tax Manager6+ years of public accounting experience Significant experience with LIHTC partnerships and client managementLocationsHybrid opportunities available in: St. Louis Chicago Nashville Kansas City Denver Fully remote considered for CPA-licensed professionalsIf you have experience working with LIHTC partnerships or affordable housing tax clients and are interested in learning more, I'd be happy to share additional details about the firm, team structure, and growth opportunities.
