Job Description: Collaborating within your team to build new features that are targeted at our highest impact enterprise customersContributing to platform scaling initiativesMeeting regularly with Product and Design to fine tune requirementsAttending agile ceremonies to help your team plan out their work and get it doneWorking across squads to improve Engineering practices at CalendlyReviewing implementation plans and pull requests from your peersMentoring and coaching other team membersRequirements: 4-6 years of professional software development experience in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.Strong, hands-on full-stack engineering skills, with the ability to independently design, build, and ship production changes across frontend and backend systemsExperience building and maintaining Node.js services that interface with distributed APIs, LLMs, or similar mixed-stack environments.Hands-on experience with Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA), microservices, and involvement in monolith-to-services modernization or large-scale refactoring initiatives.Proven ability to own features end-to-end, including technical discovery, design, implementation, testing, release, and ongoing maintenance.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissect complex systems, identify root causes of issues, and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.A commitment to writing clean, reliable, and maintainable code, with an emphasis on readability, simplicity, and performance.Adaptability to new technologies, evolving architectural patterns, and changing organizational priorities.Experience using AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, etc.) as productivity tools, with a clear understanding of generated code and the ability to defend implementation choices.Availability for participation in an on-call rotation, ensuring timely and effective responses to critical production issues outside of regular working hours.Authorized to work lawfully in the United States, as Calendly does not offer immigration sponsorship at this time.Benefits: All full-time (30 hours/week) employees are eligible for our Top Performer Bonus program (or Sales incentive)equity awardscompetitive benefits
