Quality Engineer I

Aerometals Is Looking To Add The Following PositionQuality Engineer I Pay range: $65,000 - $80,000 DOESchedule: Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:00am - 12:00pmThe ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to:Serve as the primary originator of Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) for production.Identify and evaluate potential nonconformances against applicable drawings, specifications, and work instructions to determine whether a formal NCR is warranted.Document NCRs completely and ensure supporting objective evidence is included. Physically identify, tag, and segregate nonconforming hardware to prevent unauthorized use or release of discrepant product.Cross-reference travelers, routers, and inspection records to confirm the full scope of the nonconformance and identify additional affected hardware.Assemble documentation packages for Material Review Board (MRB) review; support disposition decisions by senior quality personnel.Maintain the NC log and tracking system to ensure accurate status of all open NCRs.Perform in-process and final inspections per applicable drawings, specifications, and inspection plans; escalate out-of-tolerance findings as potential NCRs.Participate in the AS9100 Quality Program.Perform other duties as required by the organization.
