Surrogacy & Donor RN Coordinator
IVIRMA North America network of state-of-the-art fertility practices in the United States, is currently seeking a Surrogacy & Donor RN Coordinator to join our new RMA of Utah practice!Responsibilities IncludeCollaborate with a specialized clinical team to manage the care of patients utilizing third party reproduction (egg donors, sperm donors, and/or gestational carriers) Follow required RMA protocols and procedures, including ensuring FDA compliance with periodic review of patient charts for the FDA eligibility determinationContribute to physicians’ effectiveness by identifying patient care issues; provide information and commentary pertinent to patient care plan; recommend possible options and courses of action as appropriate; implement physician directivesEstablish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients; comfort patients by anticipating their anxieties and answering questions and concernsResolve patient problems and concerns by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategiesPatient education in regard to treatment plan and medications through e-learning and other patient education availableFollow up with patients regarding laboratory values and semen analysis resultsAssist physician with in-office procedures as neededMaintain a cooperative and productive working relationship intra-departmentally as well as inter-departmentallyQualities IncludeHigh energy, excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills, and demonstrated self-directed work ethic are requiredExcellent listening/counseling/interpersonal, and communications skills required to manage sensitive patient situation properlyResourceful and well organized; committed to detail and follow-upAbility to work independently, demonstrate good judgment and remain composed under stressBehaviors RequiredTeam Player: Works well as a member of a groupDedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrityMotivations RequiredAbility to Make an Impact: Inspired to perform well by the ability to contribute to the success of a project or the organizationEducation RequiredBachelor of Science in NursingExperience RequiredStrong clinical skills, minimum of 6 months clinical experienceExperience working with oocyte donors, sperm donors, gestational carriers and intended parents/recipientsMust be proficient in Microsoft Office; prior EMR experience preferredPrior experience in women’s healthcare preferredLicenses & Certifications RequiredActive Registered Nurse state licenseBLS and/or ACLS (IV certification a plus).
