This hands‑on role offers practical experience supporting ISO 14001 & 45001 management systems, safety programs, compliance activities, and continuous improvement efforts in a manufacturing and non-manufacturing environment.This position is ideal for students looking to gain real‑world EHS experience, develop technical and professional skills, and contribute to a strong safety culture.What You’ll Be DoingSupport and/or participate in Continuous Improvement activities such as: Kaizen, 5S audits, etc.Support and assist with implementing and maintaining EHS programs, policies, and procedures to drive EHS culture, compliance, and results.Assist in identifying hazards and recommending corrective and preventive actions.Perform ergonomic assessments and provide technical guidance to employees to minimize risks associated with material handling, repetitive motion, and workstation design.Conduct internal safety health and/or environmental audits to verify compliance levels.Support and/or participate in ISO 14001 & 45001 Management System Certification activities.Promote safety awareness and employee engagement initiatives.RequirementsWhat We're Looking ForCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering/Safety Management, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene or related science field.Available to work 10-20 hours during the semester and full-time (40 hours) during the summer on-site.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Preferred SkillsStrong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work effectively on a team and independently on tasks/projects.Organized, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn.Basic project management skills with a results-focused mindset and strong collaboration skillsAbility to identify and analyze problems, collect data, and make sound recommendations.What You'll Get From UsWe promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
