We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Vocational Employment Specialist to join our team and contribute to our impactful work. Position Overview: The Vocational Employment Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting clients in their career development and job search efforts. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping individuals achieve their employment goals, possess strong counseling skills, and have a deep understanding of the job market and vocational resources. This role involves providing personalized career counseling, creating individualized employment plans, and offering support throughout the job search process. This is vocational service type work involving all aspects of duties normally associated with job placement. This position will be assigned to work in multiple counties in Southeast AL. Full Time Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm. Applicant may be required to work flexible hours. Competitive Benefit package. QUALIFICATIONS: A completed employment application High School Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in rehabilitation service, psychology or related field, vocation education, or an acceptable general education program desired. Experience in industry, personnel management, or work of a similar nature may be substituted.
