Role OverviewThe Assistant Controller oversees daily accounting operations, ensuring financial statements comply with GAAP and regulatory standards.Responsibilities include managing and supervising staff, reviewing accounting entries, and driving process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.This role involves technical accounting interpretation, system implementation support, and supervising processes like month-end close, cash management, and regulatory reporting.Qualifications include 7+ years of relevant banking accounting experience, supervisory skills, and CPA preferred.Proficiency in Excel, accounting systems (Oracle ERP, Fusion GL), and strong analytical skills are essential.Must hold a bachelor’s in Accounting or related field, with prior management experience.Remote work is possible for those in Pacific or Mountain time zones.
