The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of hands-on AP and AR experience, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Duties And ResponsibilitiesProcess and review vendor invoices for accuracy, proper authorization, and codingMatch purchase orders, receipts, and invoices (3-way matching)Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerMaintain vendor records and ensure W-9s and vendor setup forms are on fileAssist with month-end close including AP accrualsGenerate and send customer invoices accurately and on timeMonitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balancesPost customer payments and reconcile remittancesResearch and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiriesPrepare AR aging reports and escalate delinquent accounts as neededAssist with month-end close including AR reconciliationsQualifications2–4 years of experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts ReceivableSolid understanding of basic accounting principles and practicesProficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP)Strong Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)High attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredThe base salary range for this contract position is $33/hour - $40/hour. Our salary ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
