At our Frederick, MD location, we're expanding our technical team to support growing demand and exceptional customer experiences.Position OverviewWe're looking for a Technical Drafting Engineer with a passion for precision and problem-solving. In this role, you'll produce technical drawings and 3D models for modular structures, collaborate with our project management and sales teams, and help bring bold ideas to life—from conceptual design through to on-site execution.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for structure layouts, elevations, and connection detailsModify and update existing plans based on project scope and client specificationsAssist in structural calculations and load assessments with engineering guidanceCollaborate with project managers, field operations, and the sales teamUS liaison with German engineering departmentMaintain drawing documentation and technical files in an organized systemCommunicate with clients or partners when technical clarification is neededSupport installation crews with technical layouts and logistics planningRequired QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or related fieldProficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with SketchUp, Revit, or SolidWorks is a plusStrong understanding of structural components and building principlesAbility to read and interpret technical specifications and architectural/engineering drawingsExceptional attention to detail and spatial reasoningStrong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyAble to work full-time, in-office in Frederick, MDPreferred ExperienceExperience in modular or temporary structures, tents, or event/industrial designKnowledge of IBC, local codes, or temporary permitting processesPrevious collaboration with construction or field crewsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salaryHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid holidays and PTOOpportunities for growth within a global company
