Process Engineer

Job DescriptionWe are working with a client company who is seeking a Process Engineer for a gearbox manufacturing company. This company has been in business for 100 years and is growing!Position OverviewThe Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes related to gear production. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with gear cutting, heat treatment, grinding, and finishing operations, and understands the technical requirements of producing high-precision gears to AGMA standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and optimize manufacturing processes for spur, helical, bevel, and worm gearsCreate and maintain routings, work instructions, and process documentationImprove cycle times, reduce scrap, and enhance process capabilitySupport new product introduction from engineering release through productionCollaborate with Quality to address non-conformances and implement corrective actionsTroubleshoot machining and heat treat issues related to gear geometry and performanceAnalyze tooling performance and recommend improvementsLead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma methodologies preferred)Work closely with Production to ensure process stability and repeatabilityEnsure compliance with ISO quality standards and customer specificationsFor more information or to apply directly, contact Alana at alana.seddon@gogpac.com
