Music Teacher - (1.0 FTE) Middle School Vocal and General Music **Vocal music specialist and strong pianist preferred NYS Finger Print Clearance required Music Certification K-12 2026-2027 school year Anticipated Start date: September 1, 2026 Salary per FTA contract: Step 1 base - $44,066 Actual salary based on graduate degree, graduate credits, and experience in public school **At a minimum, this position will include a mix of ensembles, general music, preparing students for CCMTA/NYSSMA Festivals, collaboratively working with the Music Department. **Candidates will be required to perform a prepared piano piece as well as a NYSSMA Level 4 or 5 vocal solo with self accompaniment, as well as teach a demonstration lesson, as part of the interview process.
