General Surgery Physician Job near State College, PA A private hospital in the northwestern PA is seeking a Board Eligible/ Board Certified General Surgeon. This position is an opportunity to grow a surgical practice within a community hospital feel. The hospital has invested significant amount of capital in providing updates to it, including remodeling of the hospital, operation rooms including new equipment and renovated clinic space. Outpatient volumes up to 20 patients/day (returns and news) and surgeries (approx. 200/year) which includes hernia???s, gallbladders, lesions, endoscopies, appendectomies. Outpatient clinics, inpatient rounds on post-ops, consults as needed and surgery.
