Job Description SummaryModMed is hiring a driven Regional Sales Manager to join our positive, passionate, and high-performing Sales team focused on managing the sales process for Modernizing Medicine’s suite of solutions within key accounts. The RSM leads the sales process and directly contributes to the company’s growth strategy. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for cultivating new opportunities and executing a strategic sales process within one of our medical specialty segments.You will focus on driving new business in small specialty practices by building relationships with healthcare practice administrators and physicians. This role is a pure hunter focused on new customer acquisition, promoting our healthcare IT solutions that streamline clinical workflows, impact financial performance, and enhance patient experience. The ideal candidate understands the unique operational, financial, and regulatory challenges faced by small specialty practices and thrives in a fast-paced, consultative sales environmentYour Role Identify, engage, and close net-new business opportunities within the small practice (key) sales segmentBuild and execute a territory strategy to generate pipeline and accelerate new revenue growthDeliver compelling solution presentations, product demos, and ROI/value discussions to decision makers and influencersConduct thorough needs assessments and present customized solutions that align with the strategic objectives of key accounts.Lead complex sales cycles from initial contact to contract negotiation and close, effectively articulating the value proposition of Modernizing Medicine's products and services.Accurately forecast revenue, manage deal cycles, overcome objections, and maintain predictable sales performanceCollaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales development, solutions engineering, professional services) to advance complex deals to closureMonitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and challenges.Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to represent Modernizing Medicine and network with potential clientsSkills & RequirementsBachelor’s degree is highly preferredMinimum of 3+ years of experience, preferably in healthcare-related SaaS sales, and a consistent track record of closing dealsExceptional consultative selling, listening, and negotiation skillsProven experience hunting net new accounts in a consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycleAbility to create buying urgencyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong presentation skills, both remote and onsite, including conducting demos and executive-level presentationsAbility to translate complex healthcare and technical concepts into clear business value for non-technical stakeholdersAbility to travel throughout the US (estimated at about 30%)Previous experience working in a high-growth technology industry is a plusModMed Benefits Highlight: At ModMed, we believe it’s important to offer a competitive benefits package designed to meet the diverse needs of our growing workforce.
