Survey Coordinator
OverviewThe Survey Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the on-site layout on multiple projects which includes locating a CAD generated point (ie: sleeves, hangers, anchors,structural opening, pads, etc…). They are utilizing the highest levels of technology, construction knowledge and standards to produce high quality layouts to increase efficiency and reduce cost.Responsibilities Ensure Trimble GPS and RTS and accessories for layout stay maintained and in workingorder. Prepare files for the Trimble GPS and RTS for layout. Provide instruction to Layout crew(s) by detailedverbal explanation Logging point quantities Meet with projectand GC team onsite to evaluate conditions of control pointsand anything else needed to perform layout. Collaborate with BIM/Drafting to ensure files are accuratefor layout. Liaison between BIM team and project team as it relates obtainingas-builts or existing conditions. Update point files with all field conditions or changes. Provide efficient and accurate layout to the field utilizing Trimble RTS and GPS. TimekeepingQualificationsRequired Education, Experience, and Qualifications 3-5 years of MEP layout experience. Knowledge of BIM Software. Knowledge of electronic document exchange. Ability to reviewand understand contractdrawings, installation drawingsand specifications. Able to work well in a fast-paced environment. General knowledge of construction process,layout process, and surveying General to specificknowledge of pipingsystems & HVAC systems. Detail oriented with excellent verbaland written communication skills. Proficient in TrimbleField Link and Trimble RTS Effective verbal and written communication skills. Detail oriented and willing to tackle variousongoing projects in a fast paced environment. Well versed in the industryand the Company’s competitors.
