Electronics Validation Engineer-Bench Validation Engineer

Role: Electronics Validation Engineer-Bench Validation Engineer Contract-6 Months Location-Santa Clara, CA Rate-OPEN § Responsible for Bench validation, Characterization and Test Platform Enablement. § Understanding and experience in Power products (Power converters, Switching converters etc.) § Parametric & Functional Validation of device performance § Experience with Lab automation/test equipment/LabView/Python Proficiency with bench level test equipment (i.e. Function Generator, Scopes, Logic Analyzer, Pattern Generators, PXIe) § Work closely with test engineering and production support team to drive debug activities and data correlation. § Provide detailed status reports at each phase, test limit (guard band) generation, Data analysis and summary reports. Skills Required: § Graduates with Degree/Masters in Electronics or Electrical Engineering § Minimum 2~3 years of experience in Bench Validation and characterization. § Experience with Lab automation/test equipment/LabView/Python Proficiency with bench level test Solid understanding of Mixed Signal test concepts and measurements. § Good understanding of PMIC circuits, ability to work in collaborative team environment Experience with schematic capture, board design, and PCB layout. § Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions. § Hands on experience with lab equipment such as Function Generator, Scopes, Logic Analyzer, Pattern Generators & PXIe. § Knowledge in scripting (Perl/python/vba) and automation in reporting is a plus.
