Automotive Diagnostic Technician (Dexter, MI) (

Company: Mobile Auto Solutions Responsibilities & Duties: Provide information and direction on vehicle diagnostics and technical solutions to internal customers via telephone and supported equipment Carry out duties from the call center and remotely connect to vehicles to complete diagnostic scans and calibrations Document all customer interactions in database Work within groups of technicians and software development teams to improve products and services Maximize first time resolution of customer queries Provide training support and basic technical support to customers and employees as required Other duties as requested Work week is Monday-Friday, position hours are 8am - 5pm This is a non-exempt position with no supervisory responsibilities Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required Automotive Repair experience/education required Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace required Superior customer service skills required Strong problem-solving capabilities required Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with customers required Ability to multi-task required Embrace a team atmosphere and winning culture Preferred Qualifications: OE/Dealer level diagnostic and programming experience a plus Familiarity with pre/post scanning of automobiles; ADAS/OEM Scan tool experience is preferred 1 to 3 years experience as an automobile technician ASE L1 certification is a plus (ASE Certification(s), I-Car, MECP and ALLDATA) Familiarity with CCC One platform Collision automotive experience Bilingual in Spanish or Spanish speaking ability a plus Benefits That Drive Your Success MAS offers comprehensive benefits you expect from an industry leader, including: Competitive Pay Plans Medical, Prescription Drug, Dental & Vision Insurance effective your first day 401(k) Retirement Plan with company match Employer Paid Short-Term Disability & Life Insurance Paid Vacation & Holidays Continuing Education Opportunities MAS is proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace.
