Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Gastroenterology

We are seeking a dedicated Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Gastroenterology to provide expert care in Columbia, SC. The provider will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.Perform comprehensive assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare teams.Perform outpatient and inpatient procedures such as endoscopies and colonoscopies with precision and safety.Manage acute and chronic gastrointestinal disorders, including inflammatory bowel disease, GERD, and liver diseases.Provide patient education on disease management, prevention, and lifestyle modifications.Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all regulatory and safety standards.Skills needed: Strong clinical skills in gastroenterology, excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
