The facility works a 5-2-2-5 schedule. These are 12 hour shifts working 645am-7pm and 645pm-7am, you will work both shifts on the rotating schedule. Candidates must be available for any shift and only candidates who are able to work this schedule will be considered.Georgia-Pacific's Mailers is a part of the Packaging and Cellulose business, the Mailers business is expanding its product lines, working with key customers to create and launch one or more new products to complement our already thriving recyclable padded mailer business.What You Will Do Perform necessary functions to operate the line with minimal supervision in coordination with other team members to maintain facility standards in safety, productivity, waste, housekeeping and quality standardsPackage/handle materials to customer specificationsPerform makeready/changeover machine tasks according to production schedulesConsistently looks for improvements and efficiencies to reduce waste and increase production within quality standards setDrive safety excellence through promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to proactivelyMaintain and clean machines as neededWho You Are (Basic Qualifications) Experience in manufacturing or other high paced environmentThis role works rotating 12 hour shifts, with a 7-day break in every 28-day periodWhat Will Put You Ahead 1+ years of experience as a paper setter, operator, tender, or printing process experience such as offset printing, digital printing, web printing, or corrugating or converting experience, including inspecting quality of printed materials for alignment, registration and print defectsExperience with the make ready process to prepare equipment for a new jobExperience trouble shooting machine setup, adjusting machines and solutioning key issues safelyExperience using a computer, tablet, or smart deviceOther Considerations/Physical Requirements Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipmentPerform tasks such as lifting up to 45lbs, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day, in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environmentEqual Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
