Title : Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Primary Care with Integrative Exposure (Part-Time) Location : Internal Healing and Wellness MD 255 Ed English Dr. Suite A, Shenandoah, TX 77385 Schedule: 2-3 Days/week - Path to Full-time Position Summary Internal Healing & Wellness MD is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to support our growing insurance-based primary care services. This role begins part-time (2–3 days per week), with the intention of expanding to full-time as the practice continues to grow. The ideal candidate practices strong, evidence-based primary care and is open to integrative, holistic, and lifestyle-focused approaches. Formal functional medicine certification is not required, though it is a plus. Key Responsibilities Provide primary care services for insurance-based patients (new and follow-up visits) Conduct comprehensive evaluations and manage common acute and chronic conditions Review medical histories, symptoms, and diagnostic data Collaborate with the supervising physician on individualized care plans Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as clinically appropriate Review and interpret laboratory results within standard clinical guidelines Educate patients on prevention, lifestyle, and wellness strategies as appropriate Document encounters accurately in the electronic health record Coordinate care with physicians, MAs, and front-desk staff to support efficient clinic flow Qualifications: Active Nurse Practitioner certification and Texas licensure Strong primary care clinical foundation Comfortable managing insurance-based patient panels Open to learning integrative / holistic concepts Functional medicine or holistic care certification is a plus, not a requirement Excellent communication and patient engagement skills Professional, dependable, and collaborative Practice Environment Hybrid model: insurance-based primary care + integrative medicine Physician-led, supportive clinical culture Start part-time with planned growth to full-time EMR systems: Athena EMR – insurance-based patients Cerbo EMR – functional medicine patients (limited relevance unless integrative-trained) Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 24 per week Benefits: Paid time off Ability to Commute: Shenandoah, TX 77385 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Shenandoah, TX 77385: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
