If you are ready to join a company that truly cares about its employees, our members, and our community then you have come to the right place!Summary of Role:The Member Mortgage Servicing Representative performs all required transactions and functions in researching, analyzing, and completing member service requests relative to loans serviced by Broadview FCU.Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:Process service requests, including but not limited to payoff requests, loan corrections, loan inquiries and loan payments.Complete all requests in the prescribed time frame; if necessary, forward to appropriate department/staff.Respond to incoming calls from members and from within the organization.Process incoming mortgage loan payments within 24 hoursScan envelopes from incoming mail for mortgage loan paymentsTrack & scan daily transit checks processed report for Mortgage ServicingProcess real estate loan payoffs then creating the discharge of mortgage ensuring the process is completed within 30 days to avoid a penalty.Review daily unapplied reports; research and post all payments as necessary.Review daily Stops and rejects reports; research and post all payments as necessary.Contact members to verify $3000 principal paymentsReview monthly Mortgage Billing Statements to ensure the data is accurate before the file is sent into production.Review DIG report of address changes for member accounts in DNA with loans on the Servicing Director system updating as applicable.Review Pending Maturity Report; sending letter when applicableSend notices to insurance carriers removing Broadview FCU as Loss PayeeDetermine why a Mortgage Billing Statement was returned updating address if necessaryMonitor insurance losses & escrow holdbacks ensuring checks are disbursed in a timely mannerUpdate policies and procedures as necessaryPerform other duties as may be assigned by supervisorAssist Loan Set up specialist as needed due to volumeOther duties as neededMinimum Job Qualifications:High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (G.E.D.)A minimum of 1 year of experience in mortgage servicing. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word and ExcelDetailed knowledge of all internal programs and applications i.e. E3, Fiserv DNA, etc.Starting Compensation: $20.68 - $24.82/hr., plus a competitive benefits packageBilingual individuals who are fluent in a second language in addition to English are highly encouraged to apply.We are an equal opportunity employer.
