You’ll guide your team, strengthen operations, ensure compliance, and model the standard of care we expect at Above Expectations. Your leadership will directly influence both staff success and quality of life for the individuals we serve.In This Role, You WillProgram Leadership & OversightOversee the daily operations of one or more residential homesEnsure services align with Individual Support Plans (ISPs), Behavior Support Plans, and company policiesMonitor the health, safety, and overall well-being of individuals servedMaintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained home environmentStaff Supervision & DevelopmentHire, train, supervise, and evaluate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure proper shift coverageProvide coaching, mentorship, and ongoing performance feedbackAddress employee concerns and implement corrective action when necessaryCompliance & DocumentationEnsure full compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulationsMaintain accurate documentation including progress notes and incident reportsParticipate in audits, licensing reviews, and inspectionsIndividual Advocacy & SupportPromote person-centered practices that foster independence and community inclusionCommunicate effectively with families, guardians, and interdisciplinary teamsAdvocate for the rights, dignity, and needs of individuals servedAdministrative & Operational ResponsibilitiesMonitor household budgets, expenses, and inventoryCoordinate medical appointments, transportation, and activitiesParticipate in on-call rotationRespond to emergencies and provide crisis interventionWho You AreYou are a confident, steady leader who understands that strong homes start with strong supervision. You lead with integrity, communicate clearly, and hold people accountable — while still showing compassion and respect. You are organized, solution-focused, and committed to ensuring both staff and individuals receive the support they deserve.Qualifications2–3+ years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilitiesPrior supervisory or leadership experience preferredStrong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop staffHighly organized with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesValid driver’s licenseCPR/First Aid/AED, Mandt, and Medication Administration certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)Ability to successfully complete required background checks and clearancesSchedule, Work Environment & Physical ExpectationsThis is a full-time position that may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and participation in an on-call rotation. Program Supervisors are expected to provide after-hours support and respond to emergencies when necessary.This role is based within residential group homes and requires active engagement in the home environment.
