SUMMARY: Test and repair MultiTech products returned by customers & distributors. Communicate non-standard problems to Repairs Manager and/or Repairs Administrator. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Test and repair returned products, interacting with customers via ticket portal/phone as needed. Final test product per written final test instructions at acceptable quantity level with 100% quality. Troubleshoot circuit boards and repair failed units down to component level. Enter defect data into appropriate defect database. Work as a team member or individually as required. Ability to solder and desolder printed circuit assemblies. Adhere to the quality system standards pertaining to the job. Adhere to ESD requirements and safety rules. Produce high quality repairs to products to exceed customer expectations. Follows MultiTech rules and policies. Clean and maintain work area. Performs other duties as assigned.
