As an Electrician at HB Trenchless, LLC, you will play an essential role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems for tunneling and trenchless projects. You will work with a variety of electrical systems, including power supply for tunnel boring machines, site lighting, and safety systems. This position requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety. You will work alongside our team of operators, foremen, and engineers to ensure seamless project execution.Key Responsibilities:Electrical Installation: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for tunnel boring machines, construction equipment, site power systems, and safety equipment.Power Distribution: Ensure reliable and safe power distribution for all tunnel operations and site equipment, including temporary and permanent electrical systems.Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues with machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining operational efficiency.Equipment Wiring: Run wiring and install electrical panels, circuits, transformers, and other electrical components for tunnel projects.Safety Compliance: Ensure all electrical systems and installations meet safety standards and are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.Team Collaboration: Work closely with foremen, operators, and project managers to ensure electrical systems are properly integrated into overall project operations.Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems, ensuring equipment remains in optimal working condition.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of electrical work, inspections, and maintenance performed on equipment and electrical systems.On-Site Support: Provide on-site electrical support during construction, troubleshooting issues as they arise to keep operations running smoothly. Position RequirementsQualifications:Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician in a construction or industrial setting. Experience in tunneling or heavy construction environments is a plus.Licensing: Valid electrician's license (local, state, or national). If required, certifications for specific electrical work (e.g., high-voltage systems, underground wiring) are preferred.Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, wiring, and electrical safety protocols. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.Safety Certification: Valid OSHA certification (e.g., OSHA 10/30) and a strong understanding of safety standards in construction environments.Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to quickly identify and resolve electrical issues, both in the field and with machinery.Physical Requirements: Ability to work in challenging conditions, including confined spaces and varying weather conditions. Capable of lifting heavy electrical equipment and materials.Team-Oriented: Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with other trades and crew members.Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and address electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.Valid Driver's License: Ability to travel to job sites as needed.Equal Opportunity Employer
