Broker Assistant

Job Title: Broker Assistant Location: Houston, TX Company: Link Crude Resources About Us: Link Crude Resources is a leading crude oil brokerage firm specializing in North American crude oil markets. We provide expert trading services and comprehensive market analysis to our clients. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Broker Assistant to join our team and support our brokerage operations. Position Overview: The Broker Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the broker desk during the daily trading cycle, managing broker confirmations, and assisting with office management tasks. This position requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Trading Support: Compile and analyze prior day's trading volumes; enter data into internal systems for US Domestic, Canadian and Rockies markets. Update and maintain market information on platforms Assist brokers with daily transactions in real time. Execute and generate various internal and client reports, including daily trade reports, forward curves, and market reports. Brokerage Operations: Support broker operations. Input deals in E-Confirm, compare entries, and handle unmatched trades. Maintain up-to-date records in the deal book and log all transactions. Monitor daily transaction reports for accuracy and highlight any anomalies. Administrative Support: Answer phones and maintain communication throughout the day. Assist in managing all Link Data Services (LDS) reports and services. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data analysis. Ability to learn and operate new software platforms. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to obtain Series 3 License. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the energy or commodities markets. Familiarity with trading platforms and market analysis tools.
