Grow with us.Senior Staff Accountant will manage day to day accounting processes, prepare monthly close reconciliations, journal entries, account analyses, A/R processes and general accounting duties. This role will be responsible for providing support to the Finance Department reporting directly to the CFO.Key Responsibilities:Support the Finance Department with completion of monthly financial statementAssist with monthly close activities that include account reconciliation, recording journal entries, balance sheet schedules and P&L account analysisValidate data from multiple systems to ensure accuracy of data posted to accounting systemReview customer contracts and assist in order approvalsResponsible for accounts receivable including billing calculations, invoicing, statements, past due notices, posting of cash receipts and aging reportsIdentify and resolve discrepancies with internal and external teamsManage AR, by collecting, reporting and ensuring compliance to client's termsPerform special projects, reporting analysis and other related duties as assignedDocument and improve processes and controls within the finance departmentQualifications:BS/BA degree in Accounting/Finance or related field preferredMBA/CPA preferred but not required2-5 years of relevant experienceStrong analytical skills with utilization of GAAPNetSuite experience preferred but not requiredMicrosoft Excel experience requiredReconciliation experience requiredExcellent communication skillsStrong Attention to detailWillingness to roll up your sleeves and go the extra mileBenefitsAt BlackHawk Data, we provide a comprehensive benefits package to support your well-being in and out of work.
