Coaches and manages team members to deliver diverse and inclusive programming options that constantly improve the resident experience and create a vibrant, engaged community. Ensures compliance with community and State Regulations and monitors the effective and efficient use of budgeted resources.Full-Time, Exempt. $80,000-$90,000 DOE. Work Duties Recruits, hires, orients, trains, supervises, and provides ongoing feedback to the following roles and positions: life enrichment/engagement, and fitness activities. Monitors resident status changes and participates in weekly evaluation meetings.Provides orientation for new residents.Works with CSC Community Life Manager/Director to monitor the quality of programs, events, and activities; identifies opportunities for program enhancement.Coordinates community life activities, events, and initiatives so that positions and roles within the department work together to optimize program offerings for residents, prospective residents and family members.Acts as the primary Community Content Manager for the resident engagement platform and services, ensuring that content is updated regularly and is engaging and relevant to residents. Responsible for onboarding residents to their community’s online engagement platform and provide ongoing training and support, as necessary. Ensures programming can effectively include residents with varying personal, physical, and cognitive needs.Promotes and protects the rights of each resident.May serve as editor of the community newsletter.To Be Successful In The Role, You Would HaveBachelor’s degree in Social Work, Business, or Related Field 3-5 years of prior related experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience3-5 years of progressively responsible, professional community management experience requiredCertified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist preferred Experience working with seniors or senior living communities strongly preferred Experience in program planning and implementation (activities, events, engagement) strongly preferredBackground in fitness, marketing, communications and/or public relations preferredExperience working with volunteers (clubs, committees, neighborhood groups, etc.) preferredComfort speaking in front of small and large groups preferredExperience in program planning and implementation (activities, events, engagement) strongly preferred What's in it for you?
