Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans and providing support to enhance their quality of life. Your primary focus will be on educating clients and their families, assisting in the development of care plans, and collecting data to track progress. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Educate clients and their families about behavioral health strategies and interventions. Assist in the development and modification of care plans based on client needs. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records related to client progress and interventions. Collect data on client behaviors to monitor effectiveness of interventions and report findings to the supervising BCBA. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote skill development and independence. Experience Previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities, is preferred. Familiarity with behavioral health practices and medical documentation processes is beneficial. Experience in data collection methods relevant to behavioral analysis is a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
