Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator(s) A local construction and excavating company located on the Nucor Plymouth Site is seeking hardworking, reliable Heavy Equipment Operator(s) to join our team. We are looking for motivated individuals who take pride in their work, arrive on time, and are not afraid of physical labor. Operators must be willing to step off the machine and assist with ground work when needed. The ideal candidate works well with the foreman and crew to ensure all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities: Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, including excavators, dozers, graders, loaders, and backhoes Assist with ground work and general labor as needed Work closely with foreman and crew to complete projects on schedule Follow all site safety policies and procedures Maintain equipment and report mechanical issues promptly Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in dirt work and excavation Proven experience operating heavy equipment (graders, dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators) Strong knowledge of construction site operations and safety protocols Mechanical aptitude and understanding of commercial driving practices Dependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented If you’d like, I can also: Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience: Excavator: 5 years (Required) Work Location: In person
