Maintenance MechanicA Maintenance Mechanic repairs equipment, fabricates parts, and maintains parts inventory associated with all equipment.Essential Functions/Job Duties:Make necessary repairs to all equipment when neededFabricate parts and structures for machinery and equipmentOperate metalworking machinery that will include and not limited to: band saw, lathe, and welder.Count and maintain spare parts inventorySource parts when needed and follow mandated purchase order requirementsWork with outside contractors when required.Knowledgeable in troubleshooting conveying systemsAdditional Functions/Job Duties:Other duties as assigned.Requirements:Must have mechanical knowledge with regards to motors, bearings, and gears.Basic understanding of electrical circuits and power requirements.Welding and fabrication skillsKnowledge of proper safety requirementsBasic computer skillsPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
