We are committed to driving innovation and exceeding customer expectations in inkjet, visual communications, and robotics.We are currently looking for a Lead Material Handler to join our team on 1st Shift in our fast-paced warehouse environment.Employee BenefitsWe offer an outstanding benefits package, including:Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance effective Day 1Generous paid time off, including sick time, vacation, and holidays401(k) plan with company matchTuition reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), employee discounts, and much more!What You Will Be DoingAs a Lead Material Handler you will:Review receiving flow throughout the day to ensure proper resource allocationReview and communicating job specifications to ensure products are received according to instructionsCommunicate with corporate personnel regarding order status, compliance issues, and inventory updatesAssist with tracking performance metrics and other dataEnsure warehouse staff are at their workstations on timeCommunicate department goals and standards, and taking appropriate action as neededConduct random quality control audits of inbound shipments to ensure complianceCoordinate cycle counting activitiesMonitor dock activity and product flowTrain employees in methods and proceduresConduct safety training and enforcing safety programsEnsure assigned warehouse areas are clean, orderly, and inventory is properly locatedEnsure the team is trained in and utilizes Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2000) and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001)Support continuous improvement of systemsAssist with hiring, motivating, evaluating, and developing department personnelProvide coaching and mentoring to team membersAdvise management and offering recommendations on personnel and escalated issuesBuild strong relationships with peers and senior managers to support company goalsManage and leveraging vendor relationships for optimal pricing and product qualityMaintain professional relationships with peers in other corporations and external organizationsWhat You Will BringYour background and experience should include:Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a distribution center or warehouse environmentAt least 1 year of experience in a team lead or supervisory role, preferably in a logistics or warehouse settingStrong understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, and shippingFamiliarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and basic ERP systemsProven ability to lead, train, and motivate teams to meet performance goalsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $25.00 and $31.00/hr. Please note that this position’s salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.
