Home Infusion Reimbursement & Collections Specialist
Are you an experienced infusion billing professional with a strong focus on accounts receivable and collections? We are seeking a Home Infusion Reimbursement & Collections Coordinator to play a critical role in driving timely cash collections and resolving complex reimbursement issues for home infusion services.Key ResponsibilitiesActively manage accounts receivable to ensure timely and accurate paymentPerform detailed payment and denial analysis to identify trends, root causes, and resolution strategiesResearch, follow up on, and resolve unpaid, underpaid, denied, or appealed claimsSubmit appeals and corrected claims with appropriate documentation to support reimbursementCommunicate directly with payers to resolve complex coverage, authorization, and reimbursement issuesMaintain compliance with payer contracts, Medicare guidelines, and regulatory requirementsCollaborate with billing, intake, and clinical teams to reduce denials and improve first-pass yieldMonitor collection metrics and productivity goals while consistently working toward or exceeding performance benchmarksStay current on payer policy changes and infusion reimbursement regulationsQualifications & ExperienceMinimum 2 years of home infusion billing and collections/accounts receivable experienceAt least 2 years of experience maintaining HIPAA complianceStrong understanding of infusion reimbursement, payer requirements, and denial managementProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; comfortable navigating billing and AR systemsHigh attention to detail with strong analytical, problem-solving, and follow-up skillsEffective written and verbal communication skills, including payer and internal stakeholder interactionsDemonstrated success in meeting or exceeding collections, aging, or productivity metricsHigh school diploma required; equivalent combination of education and experience consideredBroad knowledge of revenue cycle workflows, billing routines, and infusion-related proceduresBenefitsThis position qualifies for the following benefits package: comprehensive medical, vision, dental, and life, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability insurance, sleep care management, Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), commuter benefits, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and tuition assistance.
