Join this passionate team of systems engineers and software developers as we help our customer transition from heavily manual testing practices to automated integration tests.As a member of the SHIV integration test team, you will design automated verification strategies and integration tests aimed at reducing risk and complexity within a diverse software application ecosystem. You will review and functional requirements and derive acceptance criteria that span multiple planning and scheduling software applications. You will analyze third-party software applications that deploy new features on an agile basis to continually enhance existing tests and implement new ones to satisfy the acceptance criteria for the functional requirements tied to them. Finally, you will collaborate closely with the software developers on the SHIV integration test team to perform root cause analysis when implemented integration tests find software bugs and defects.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with mission application engineers to design verification strategies using dynamic and realistic mission test dataCollaborate with developers to design Cypress-based automated test scripts that verify functional requirements across multiple cloud-based applicationsDesign automated tests that exercise UI-based and API-based functionalityMaintain and enhance automated tests to exercise new features as agile programs deploy new software featuresAnalyze third-party software applications and track dependencies for the purpose of designing automated verification strategiesQualificationsRequired: Active TS/SCI with polygraph (or willingness to obtain a polygraph)BA/BS in STEM field or related experience7+ years of related systems engineering experience with planning and scheduling softwareAbility to communicate effectively and collaboratively in a team environmentCollaborate with mission engineers to design verification strategies using dynamic and realistic mission test dataAbility to design automated tests of various applications for verification of requirements via satisfying acceptance criteriaDesiredExperience with model-based systems engineeringExperience supporting agile software development with systems integration and verification skillsExperience with crafting acceptance criteria for functional requirementsExperience with JIRA and ConfluenceCoding experience can be helpful but is not requiredWhat You Can Expect A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
