About the Role
Microbe Formulas is hiring a junior-to-mid level Data Analyst to evaluate sales-enabled programs and turn performance data into clear insights and recommendations. This role will focus on understanding program results and ROI, identifying customer behaviors that drive outcomes, and helping leadership optimize the sales process. The ideal candidate is highly organized, driven, and comfortable shifting priorities while delivering accurate, decision-ready analysis. Strong Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint skills are required.
Familiarity with Salesforce (Sales and Marketing Cloud platforms) and Salesforce CRM Analytics is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Program Performance & ROI
Measure and report on the results and ROI of sales-enabled programs (campaigns, journeys, enablement initiatives, events, promotions, onboarding & education programs, etc.).
Build repeatable measurement frameworks (baseline vs. lift, cohort comparisons, pre/post analysis, trend monitoring).
Define and maintain program scorecards and dashboards that show what’s working and what isn’t.
Customer Behavior & Sales Process Insights
Analyze customer and practitioner behaviors to identify drivers of conversion, retention, re-ordering, and engagement.
Surface insights that inform the best sales and marketing processes (e.g., touchpoints that matter, timing, segmentation, follow-up cadence).
Identify drop-off points and propose improvements based on evidence.
Reporting & Visualization
Create and maintain dashboards and reporting in Power BI (including data modeling and DAX as needed).
Produce ad-hoc analyses in Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, advanced formulas) to answer management questions quickly.
Build clear, executive-ready presentations in PowerPoint - turning complex findings into concise stories and recommendations.
Salesforce Data & Enablement Reporting
Pull and interpret data from Salesforce (reports/exports and understanding of CRM objects and fields).
Leverage Salesforce CRM Analytics (Tableau CRM) reporting where applicable.
Maintain KPI definitions, reporting logic, and documentation so teams trust the numbers.
Prioritization & Execution
Manage multiple concurrent requests, follow directions closely, and deliver accurate work on deadlines.
Stay focused in deep work while being able to pivot quickly as priorities change
Required Qualifications
1–4 years of experience in a data analyst, reporting, BI, or similar role (or equivalent hands-on experience).
Strong experience with:
Power BI (dashboards, data modeling, measures/DAX, refreshes)
Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, lookups, complex formulas, data cleansing)
PowerPoint (executive-ready slides, clear visual storytelling, summarizing insights)
Proven ability to analyze data, interpret results, and communicate “what it means” to stakeholders.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable; able to follow direction and produce consistent output.
Able to shift priorities quickly without losing accuracy or momentum.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Salesforce reporting and data structure (objects/fields, report types, exports).
Experience with Salesforce CRM Analytics dashboards/datasets.
Experience measuring sales/marketing programs (conversion rates, funnel metrics, pipeline influence, retention, cohort analysis).
SQL and/or experience working with data connectors, ETL tools, or data warehouses (nice to have).
What Success Looks Like (First 3–6 Months)
Program performance reporting is standardized, repeatable, and trusted (clear KPIs and definitions).
Leadership can quickly see ROI and key drivers for major sales-enabled programs.
Customer behavior insights lead to actionable recommendations that improve the sales and marketing process.
Presentations are crisp, accurate, and decision oriented.
Core Traits
Organized, driven, and responsive.
