We're looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.This opening is in the Distribution Warehouse, which is responsible for order processing functions such as picking, packing, and shipping pharmaceutical orders to sales reps, wholesalers, and retailers. Distribution Technicians typically rotate through a variety of roles related to performing these functions.Location: Plainfield Distribution Center- Plainfield, Indiana, reports to the Supervisor of Distribution Operations.Position Responsibilities:Pick and pack customer orders. This includes interaction with the warehouse management system via a handheld RF device. Material is picked by using RF device to scan product license plate. Validated packing requirements must be followed precisely. When pick/pack function is complete, order is weight checked to verify accuracy. Orders are consolidated by license plate to ship units. Packing list and ship label are printed and included with shipment.Responsible for complying with FDA and OSHA requirements.Responsible for ensuring that all training identified in his/her individual training plan (ITP) is current and complete.Constantly look for improvements in productivity, compliance, and data accuracy.Basic Requirements:High school Diploma/GEDMinimum of 1 year of warehouse experience.Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization or visas for this role.Additional Skills/Preferences:Experience working with an electronic warehouse management system. Such as SAP, Exacta, Worldlink and RF scannersDemonstrated accuracy and attention to detailsMust be flexible and willing to be cross trained to perform multiple assignmentsMust be willing to work overtime with little noticeMust be reliable and have a good work attendance historyDemonstrated computer skillsDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environmentDemonstrated a high productivity rate in previous assignmentsMust be able to complete basic math, such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. The anticipated wage for this position is $17.30 - $34.38.Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
