Critical Care Nurse in Bonaire, GA

This contract opportunity calls for an RN with ICU experience dedicated to supporting a Level 1 trauma and teaching hospital. You'll collaborate with top healthcare professionals and treat diverse, high-acuity patients in CCU, MICU, STICU, NICU, CVICU, and PCU settings.Schedule/Hours:12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Rotating schedule every 6 weeks 5-6 weekend shifts per 12 shifts (in a 6-week schedule) No on-call required Holiday shifts required (one per each major holiday)Qualifications:Active RN license At least 2 years of ICU nursing experience BLS and ACLS certifications required; CCRN preferred Ability to pass EKG competency exam during onboarding Experience with trach care, chest tube management, PIV starts, and common critical care drips EPIC charting experience preferred Willingness to float to any Med/Tele unit as neededKey Responsibilities:Provide direct patient care within various ICU and Progressive Care units Monitor and titrate cardiac, sedation, and vasopressor drips Respond quickly to changes in patient conditions Collaborate with a skilled team including CNAs, respiratory therapists, and intensivists Utilize EMR (Epic), Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis for meds, and Philips monitors Draw labs from central lines and perform bedside procedures as needed Maintain high standards for documentation, patient safety, and quality improvementPerks:Free campus parking provided Supportive, team-oriented culture Exposure to a state-of-the-art facility recognized for cardiac and stroke care Comprehensive orientation including education modules and departmental training Work in a facility with 24/7 intensivist, hospitalist, and RT coverageDeliver exceptional care alongside talented professionals.
