DFX Verification Engineer
(San Jose- 5 days onsite- Mandate) (We're open to accepting candidates who are willing to relocate as well)Progile Tech is hiring a long term Contract DFx Verification Engineer role for our direct client.Must-have skills:Strong experience in DFx/DFT verification for SoC designs.Hands-on expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM.Deep understanding of DFT concepts including Scan, ATPG, MBIST, LBIST, and JTAG.Experience with simulation tools such as VCS, Xcelium, or Questa.Familiarity with ATPG tools like TetraMAX, Modus, or FastScan.Strong debugging skills using tools like Verdi or DVE.Solid knowledge of digital design fundamentals, clocking, and reset strategies.Exposure to low-power verification using UPF or CPF is a plusKey responsibilities include:Develop and execute detailed verification plans for DFx features across SoC designs.Define coverage goals and ensure all test scenarios are validated.Collaborate with DFT and design teams to align verification with architecture.Build and maintain scalable SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches.Develop reusable verification components such as drivers, monitors, and scoreboards.Validate ATPG patterns through simulation and analyze coverage.Verify MBIST and LBIST architectures, including memory repair and redundancy mechanisms.Validate DFx functionality under low-power conditions.Analyze simulation failures, debug waveform issues, and drive root-cause resolution.Track functional and code coverage, identify gaps, and drive closure.Collaborate closely with RTL, DFT, and physical design teams.Technical environment:SystemVerilog, UVMVCS, Xcelium, QuestaTetraMAX, Modus, FastScanVerdi, DVESoC, DFT/DFx, Low Power (UPF/CPF)
