Brief Overview - Full Job Description Is Attached.The senior network Engineer is responsible for the architecture, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support of the network communications at WSSC Water. Utilizing their extensive knowledge of LAN/WAN systems, the individual in this position will take on responsibilities in areas of administration, engineering, architecture, monitoring, and troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, load balancers and DNS and DHCP appliances, and work collaboratively with IT team members on technology project implementations. The individual will develop and maintain documentation addressing plans, network topology diagrams, rack elevation, data flows, and variables. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support, consisting of technical and problem resolution support, along with maintenance of the networking infrastructure and environment.Design, implementation, maintenance and troubleshoot network communications at WSSC Water.
