Senior Mechanical Engineer

Overview: Our client is an established engineering consulting firm that is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team within the Minneapolis market! Job Duties and Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated responseCalculate heat loss/heat gain requirements for buildingsLayout of mechanical systems using AutoCAD and/or REVIT softwareCoordinate system design with other tradesAssist jobsite meetings as neededIdentify and resolve conflicts as they ariseCreate and maintain customer relationships Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience: 10+ years of experience as a mechanical engineerBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited institutionKnowledge of HVAC systemsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong leadership and communication skillsAutoCAD and REVIT software experience Desired Qualifications: Navisworks and/or Sysque software experiencePiping and/or sheet metal fabrication experiencePlumbing systems design experienceP.E. or E.I.TCost estimation experienceTrane Trace experience Benefits Offered: Competitive compensation package Healthcare Benefits/Retirement Plan Paid Vacation/Sick/Holidays Relocation Assistance Available
