Project Manager. Children's Health Finance/Operations.
Job DescriptionJob Summary: The Project Manager serves as a member of the Children's Hospital Administrative Team, supporting hospital administration and management with projects which include: Children's Hospital separate licensure, strategic initiatives, process improvement, contract and regulatory management and compliance related to new licensure, and other projects and analyses as assigned. Many of these projects will require extensive collaboration with the Children's Hospital Leadership team (including physicians), Information Systems teams, system-wide administrators and clinical leaders, Finance (including Decision Support) and Shared Services. Supports the new Children's Hospital OR Committee with utilization and statistical trend reporting on a routine basis. Performs other duties as needed.Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in related field required. Master's Degree preferred. Minimum four years of experience in health care finance or operations required.Knowledge and Skills: Able to keyboard 40 wpm. Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision.
