Travel CT Technologist - $3,035 per week

Job DetailsRequires the utilization of appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure quality diagnostic CT images.Performs daily quality control calibration checks on all equipment to ensure proper calibration before patient studies.Injects patients with radioactive material as per physician's order following prescribed protocol.Observes all department documentation policies including logs, manuals, charge documents, and reporting equipment problems to comply with regulatory agencies.Performs quality control, quality assurance, and safety tests following radiation safety guidelines to comply with ALARA principle.Maintains, develops, and retrieves patient films and electronic data for Radiologist interpretation.Orders patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses 1-day prior to use.Receives radiopharmaceutical on day of delivery and verifies proper receipt and activity level as per policy and procedure.Performs CT procedures according to prescribed protocols to ensure uniformity and accuracy.Exercises appropriate judgment to assess and respond to patient's needs prior to, during, and after visits in the Radiology department.Additional DetailsPerforms CT procedures according to prescribed protocols to ensure uniformity and accuracy.Exercises appropriate judgment to assess and respond to patient's needs prior to, during, and after visits in the Radiology department.
