Computer Numerical Control Machinist

Job Title: CNC Machinist Location: Texas, United States Job Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines to produce precision parts and components that meet strict quality and tolerance standards.QualificationsProficiency in machine operation and CNC machinery, including setup, programming, and basic troubleshooting.Hands-on machining experience with milling and related processes, preferably in a precision manufacturing environment.Understanding of industrial machinery safety practices and ability to follow standardized operating procedures.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and machining instructions.Relevant vocational training, apprenticeship, or certification in machining, manufacturing, or a related field.Previous experience as a CNC machinist or similar role in a production or engineering setting.Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, on-site environment.Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and/or grinders according to blueprints, specifications, and work ordersRead and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specificationsSelect appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters for each jobLoad programs and make edits/offsets as needed to achieve dimensional accuracyInspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM, etc.)QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training in machining preferred2+ years of experience operating CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi-axis equipment)Proficiency reading blueprints and using precision measuring toolsFamiliarity with CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Siemens, etc.)Basic knowledge of G-code/M-code programming a plusStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to lift to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, SolidWorks, etc.)NIMS or similar machining certificationExperience in aerospace, oil & gas, or automotive manufacturing (adjust based on your industry)Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay, based on experiencePaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for overtime and career advancement
