Facility Support & Transportation Specialist

We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and service-oriented Facility Support & Transportation Specialist who is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment.This hybrid position primarily supports transportation services and facility operations, while also being cross trained in security functions to provide backup coverage when needed. In this role, you will make a meaningful difference every day by ensuring our campus runs smoothly, residents get where they need to go safely, and our environment remains secure and welcoming.Transportation SupportProvide safe, timely, and courteous transportation for residents and staffAssist residents with boarding, seating, and mobility devices as neededMaintain cleanliness, safety, and readiness of vehiclesConduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needsFollow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and organizational proceduresFacility SupportAssist with light maintenance tasks, including replacing light bulbs, minor repairs, and room or event set-upsSupport the Facilities team with preventative maintenance, inspections, and assigned work ordersMonitor campus buildings and grounds for safety hazards; promptly report or address concernsAssist with moving equipment, supplies, and furniture to support daily operations and eventsProvide support during emergency situations, including assisting with safety procedures or transportation needsCollaborate with Facilities leadership (Facilities Director, Maintenance Supervisor) to complete assigned tasks and projectsPerform additional facilities-related duties as needed to support community operationsSecurity Support (Cross-Trained)Provide backup security coverage as needed to support a safe campus environmentAssist with monitoring activity, access control, and responding to incidentsSupport emergency response procedures and safety protocolsMaintain a visible, professional, and reassuring presence for residents and visitorsValid Arizona driver’s license with an acceptable driving record requiredAbility to obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance CardExperience with general facility support tasks, including painting, moving furniture, minor repairs, and basic maintenanceStrong observation skills with sound judgment and the ability to respond appropriately to safety concernsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate and professional approachBasic computer proficiency, including use of systems for communication and work ordersAbility to work effectively in an assisted living setting with a focus on resident safety, dignity, and quality of lifePhysical ability to perform job duties, including lifting, bending, prolonged standing, and assisting with mobility-related tasks as neededIdeal CandidateService-oriented with a positive, “can-do” attitudeDependable, flexible, and adaptable in a dynamic environmentHands-on and comfortable balancing multiple responsibilitiesStrong team player who takes pride in supporting othersCommitted to creating a safe, respectful, and welcoming communityWhat we offerComplimentary meals.
