We support IT organizations by bringing precision technology and operation models that achieve mission capabilities and performance success.Job Description: As a Cloud Developer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions that meet our business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment and integration of cloud services.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement scalable cloud architectures using platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Develop and deploy cloud-based applications and services.Collaborate with software engineers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to integrate cloud solutions into existing systems.Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and applications.Ensure security, compliance, and best practices are followed in cloud development.Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends to recommend improvements and new solutions.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).8+ yrs of proven experience in cloud development and deployment using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Strong knowledge of cloud services, APIs, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.Experience with different development methodologies including Agile/Scrum, Incremental and modified Waterfall processes.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred SkillsCloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate).Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.Knowledge of databases and data storage solutions in the cloud.Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor).Compensation And BenefitsThe projected compensation range for this position is $145,000 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
