RN - Med/Surg

Shift- 7:30 AM-8:00 PM Pay - $60/hr - $65/hr. Job Summary: Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team Provides direct bedside care to pre- and post-surgical patients Prepares, administers, and records prescribed medications Performs clinical procedures including dressing changes, catheter insertion, and IV initiation Monitors patient vitals and reports adverse reactions Operates and adjusts medical equipment as needed Collaborates on discharge planning and patient care coordination Educates patients and families on procedures and post-care instructions Maintains accurate patient records and documentation Adheres to established nursing standards, protocols, and best practices Required Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution Required Certifications & Licensure: Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License with Primary Source Verification American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Required Skills & Experience: Minimum two (2) years Med/Surg experience in acute or post-acute setting Physical assessment Medication administration Wound care and infection control IV therapy Post-operative care Patient education Telemetry monitoring Preferred Skills & Experience: EPIC EMR experience Schedule Start Date: 05/20/2026 Schedule Start Date: 05/20/2026 Schedule Hours Per Week: 34.50 Schedule Hours Per Day: 11.50 Schedule Days Per Week: 3.00
