This role is ideal for someone ready to step into project-level leadership: running client meetings, managing cross-functional workflows, and coaching junior team members, while continuing to hone their strategic capabilities, and organic growth skills.This is a unique opportunity to work alongside team members at all levels, from junior staff to senior leadership. You'll manage both up and down, building strong relationships across the agency while serving as a trusted day-to-day client lead. We're looking for someone with versatility across real estate sectors—from CRE and industrial to luxury residential and venture capital —who brings flexibility, curiosity, and a proactive mindset to everything they do.Client Leadership & Relationship Management:Serve as the day-to-day client lead across multiple accounts, building trust through responsiveness, sound judgment, strategic thinking, and consistent deliveryRun client meetings: set agendas in collaboration with broader teams, lead discussions, synthesize decisions, and ensure follow-throughDeliver polished, professional client interactions that elevate the client experienceIdentify meaningful organic growth opportunities by recognizing client needs and service gaps, and work with Practice Leadership to secure new workProject & Workflow Management:Oversee project-level deliverables from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, quality, and alignment with strategy and client expectationsManage workflows across teammates, providing clarity on roles, timing, deadlines, and expectationsCoordinate seamlessly across cross-functional teams, including team members in the Energy and Climate practice, as well as the Delivery, Experiences, and Performance teamsEnsure timelines, quality standards, and results are consistently metStrategy Development & Execution:In partnership with practice leadership and domain experts, lead the development and execution of organic awareness strategies, including media relations and organic social media channelsFacilitate creative development processes, including brainstorms, and encourage fresh approaches to client programsDemonstrate strong judgment in evaluating the validity, strength, and newsworthiness of pitch themes and anglesConnect client goals with integrated marketing and PR program approachesMedia & Analyst Relations:Conduct proactive media outreach via phone, email, and other platforms, securing coverage in top-tier and trade mediaBuild and nurture relationships with key media contacts, focusing on national, regional, and trade outlets, as well as emerging media channels like Substack newsletters and content creatorsProvide clear, effective direction to junior staff on media outreach, pitching, and relationship buildingSet coverage goals for junior team members and help them achieve those goalsMessaging & Content Creation:Drive strategic processes that yield memorable, differentiated messaging to inform all content creation on behalf of clientsManage the editorial process for client account teams, including drafting and editing press releases (AP Style), bylines, case studies, website copy, social media, and marketing collateralCollaborate with creative and digital teams to develop compelling visual contentBalance client objectives with media requirements in all written materialsTeam Leadership & Mentorship:Provide clear direction, feedback, and coaching to junior team membersHelp develop PR and organic visibility skills and deepen understanding of the real estate industry across the teamModel professionalism, reliability, and agency cultureManage up effectively to Directors and VPs, knowing when to escalate and seek guidanceEligible to directly manage a junior team member after three months of employment, subject to team needs and performanceParticipate in and lead agency team-building activitiesOperational Excellence:Monitor account budgets and timesheets, advising on resource allocationMaintain organized project documentation and ensure Asana workflows are up to dateDemonstrate increasing autonomy while recognizing when to engage senior leadershipWho You Are:4–6 years of direct public relations experience in real estate or related industriesDeep interest in and knowledge of the real estate sector, with experience across multiple segments (CRE, industrial, luxury residential, multifamily, affordable housing, proptech, lifestyle)Versatile and flexible, able to move fluidly between different real estate sectors and client needsEmerging leader ready to run client meetings, manage workflows, and coach junior team membersStrategic thinker who connects client goals with campaign execution and begins to identify growth opportunitiesStrong project manager who ensures clarity, accountability, and follow-through across teamsExcellent writer and communicator, skilled in crafting media materials and client-facing contentSelf-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamComfortable managing up and down, building strong relationships at all levels of the organizationThe base salary for this role is $80,000 - 100,000.
