We will do this in partnership with families, the community, staff and students to develop confident and self-reliant lifelong learners who can thrive in a rapidly changing, more technologically advance and diverse society.Position Description: The Girls Basketball Head Coach supports the district mission by:Coaching and developing players on the varsity girls basketball teamWorking collaboratively to ensure that there is a common understanding of philosophy and strategy program wide amongst all Middle and High School teamsManaging the girls' basketball budgetFundraising for items that are not covered by the athletic department or ASBCommunicating regularly with the players, parents and athletic administratorsEnsuring that there is a fair and equitable process for determining teams during tryoutsTerms of Employment: November 16, 2026 February 5, 2027Must be available for available for practices and games each weekday and some Saturdays during the seasonCurrent CPR/First-Aid card on file prior to the first day of coaching athletesSuccessful candidate must submit a Washington State Sexual Misconduct Disclosure and undergo state and background checks including fingerprinting at the applicant's expenseSalary Range: $4,725 - $6,090, depending on experienceBenefits: Eligible employees may accrue sick leave at the rate of one (1) hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked under Washington state law.
